The vision of Dr. Pandwe Gibson, EcoTech Miami Gardens is a unique space that is designed to assist small business owners and entrepreneurs in developing, marketing and launching green manufacturing businesses.
Founded by Dr. Pandwe Gibson, it is an incubator and a maker space, offering memberships or “a la carte” services to individuals interested in creating and developing businesses with a focus on green manufacturing and environmentally sustainable practices.
This is all housed within the new Green Corridor area of Miami Gardens. The goal of this dedicated space is to help to boost green industries in the area and developing Miami Gardens into a leader in green manufacturing and green jobs across the entire nation.
The Facility
The purpose of the EcoTech Visions facility is to provide a physical space for entrepreneurs to work collaboratively, to learn about business, marketing, and green technology, and to also have access to mentors, resources and equipment to take their green manufacturing concepts from ideas to marketable products and services.
Since its beginnings, EcoTech Visions has seen many changes, including a new facility that offers over 24,000 square feet. This new facility not only offers meeting and training rooms and collaborative space but also offers a range of opportunities and training for members or non-members alike.
At this time, EcoTech Visions has assisted 26 new green manufacturing and technology companies in the area. These companies all have innovative and environmentally-friendly products and services, and they are helping to create a new green manufacturing sector that is bringing both income as well as employment opportunities to the city.
Designed as an environmentally-friendly building and using green technology itself, the entire EcoTech Visions approach to green business development is new, innovative, and groundbreaking. It is also making waves in the Miami Gardens area, and increasing interest in the further development of the Green Corridor.
