Face painting is fun. Whether you’re at a party or the beach and simply want to look glamorous or different on your trip, face painting can give you that extra boost you need. It’s also a great way to get you in the mood for a party. Don’t know where to start?
Choose the right face paint
There are plenty of shops and online stores out there that sell face paint makeup. However, not all of them will carry the makeup that’s right for you. If you have super sensitive skin, it’s best to go for items that contain organic and non-toxic ingredients, says Painting. That way, you won’t have to worry about itchiness, rashes or unexpected breakouts.
Go with a sponge
Some people use a brush when they cover a large area. Ditch the brush, though, and pick up that sponge instead. It’ll be quicker and much easier to control and use. If you’re going to use a ton of colors, then use a different sponge for each color so you won’t have to keep washing the sponge every time you apply a different shade.
Wait for it to dry
Don’t apply another layer of makeup unless the first one dries up. If you rush it, you could end up mixing the two layers together. That means you’re going to have to redo that section, which will lead to even longer waiting times. So be patient. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Give your makeup time to dry.
Add effects
You can also play around with other materials for some special effects. Temporary tattoos are great for adding a dramatic touch. Glitters work great too. Just make sure they suit your makeup and you’re good to go.
So if you haven’t already tried face paint makeup, do so now. You and your pals will be in for a surprise.
